ANDY GIBSON
Andy knows a little about a lot of things, and is curious about everything.
He used to be a historian, but he drifted. Now he calls himself a "social technologist", which is like being a geek but a bit more fashionable. He also runs the social technology consultancy Sociability, the mental health campaign Mindapples, blogs badly at The New Sociablism, and writes and speaks about DIY education, organisational therapy, capitalism and post-it notes.
At School of Everything he's responsible for making sure that Stuff Happens and that the busy Team Everything bees are working together in perfect harmony to produce nice, tasty honey. Yum. He divides his time between planning the development of the product, checking that things have been done, arguing with Pete about technology and devising endless slogans to describe Everything. He's also a Company Director, and Company Secretary.
His main reason for building the School of Everything is to keep his dad busy now that he’s retired - although a good jazz piano teacher in Farringdon would be handy too. Andy has outsourced his reading to Dougald.
