Taste of patchwork

Join quilter Katherine May, who will be passing on traditional techniques step by step through a patchwork quilt sample or 'block' by piecing together your fabrics, creating your 'sandwich' + basting, knotting + rocking stitch.
There will be opportunity to explore colour and pattern, poetic recycling, emotional attachments, memories and stories and working together as a group.

The session includes a kit with a lovely booklet produced by Katherine and materials.
Katherine also encorages you to consider bringing along your own personal fabrics. Refreshments will also be available.

Booking and payment in advance is required to secure your place, but if there is space on the day, you can join in!
