Private Tuition

I have been tutoring maths since February 2001, and have seen over 130 students in that time. My speciality is building up the confidence of students who have always struggled with maths and perhaps have considerable anxiety over the subject. I try to provide a calm, reassuring and humorous approach, and it can happen that students find themselves actually enjoying the lessons! However, I take my tutoring business extremely seriously. I have a large collection of textbooks and exam papers to refer to, and I study mark schemes carefully so I can teach the best exam technique. I tutor GCSE and A level maths, and have also helped with maths for engineering students. I can help with police, teacher training and other numeracy skills tests. I have recently started to offer tuition in science for Years 7,8 and 9.
