Regular Weekly Guitar Lessons

Individual tuition is available for students of all ages from 8 years upwards. Students follow an individual programme of study, tailored to their needs.

Students develop their knowledge and skills whilst studying a wide range of popular, standard and graded repertoire. They learn how to improvise in a range of styles, helping to promote creativity and make lessons fun. Where appropriate, students are also encouraged to develop the academic side of their musicianship by studying music theory, reading standard notation and developing aural skills.

We offer students the opportunity to study for exams up to Grade 8 and beyond. Students can follow the syllabus for either Rockshool or RGT, with both exam boards being certified by the QCA. We are very proud that our students have a 100% exam success rate with over 90% passing with merit or distinction.

Weekly individual tuition is best suited to committed students with time available to maintain a routine of regular practice. Lessons last for 40 minutes and are delivered over 6 terms throughout the year in line with the school calendar.
