I am Liviu Popescu and I am a classically trained violin & viola performer and tutor, providing violin and viola lessons in the Dudley, Birmingham & Wolverhampton areas and beyond. As one of the most established violin teachers in the region, I teach both instruments to All Grades, including Chamber Music and Orchestral Repertoire, specializing in Conservatoire entry exams and coaching for GCSE & A Level performance finals.

Whether you are looking to build upon a professional career or perhaps just as a hobby, my expertise will be of great benefit. I have studied at the renown Royal College of Music in London and at the Birmingham Conservatoire with world-class international soloists, winning several instrumental prizes in both venues. I have received a Bachelor of Music degree with Honours and a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance and I can offer tuition in all levels of viola and violin training including all aspects such as chamber music, orchestral repertoire, sight reading and musical theory. I am also C.R.B. registered.
