An opportunity to explore the foundations of this energising, powerful practice: the principles of foundation, breath technique and bandhas (energetic locks within the body).
Ashtanga yoga follows a set sequence of movements linked to the breath. In this workshop you will learn the opening postures- flowing sun salutations and standing poses.
You will be encouraged to work in time to your own breath and move in your own rhythm through the practice.
The practice is designed to make you sweat so do bring a towel!
This workshop prepares you for our Mysore style classes, led ashtanga classes or other workshops. Ideal for the brave of heart who just want to dive right in!
