Play Piano or Guitar

If you were taking an intermediate level lesson in terms of casual players (pop for instance) we would look at chord voicings, the harmony and structure of a specific song making sure it was a song you actually enjoyed really wanted to learn and a high level of actually performing it.

If we were looking at an ABRSM exam student, say grade 4, technique would be a key point of learning, scales arpeggios. Aural and sight reading cannot be ignored and aiming for a high level of musicality and precision in the three chosen graded pieces. Most of all for the journey through passing a grade to be enjoyable and fun.
