If you’re a fiction writer (or want to be) this class will help you to develop and control your plot without losing the plot! You’ll try out practical tools like storyboards, maps, toys, quizzes and talking activities, all of which can be used to plot your story or novel. The emphasis is on helping you to help yourself. You’ll leave the class with lots of ideas to draw on whenever you get stuck with your plotting. It’s all about working out which approaches work best for you.
You’ll develop your research skills, get creative and learn how to make use of your unique talents and interests. The tools you’ll discover are innovative and experimental -you won't find them talked about on other creative writing courses.
The class is for all levels of fiction writers and no special skills are required. You don’t even need to be able to use a computer because you’ll be using good old fashioned pen and paper; bring your own notebook if you wish but some materials will be provided.
