Laura has practiced yoga since 1991 and taught yoga since 2000. She has studied and practiced intensively in both India and the UK with many of the world’s most respected yoga teachers- Pattabhi Jois, Sharath, John Scott, Nancy Gilgoff, Rudra Dev etc.

She continues to practice daily and seeks to carry the yoga into her daily life. She is a natural teacher who shares her understanding and knowledge of yoga with warmth & humour.

Laura has studied a variety of yoga traditions (Iyengar, Hatha & Ashtanga) and uses this wealth of experience to teach in a way appropriate for each student.

I've been practising yoga for over 20 years and teaching since 1999. My training is in the Bihar School of Yoga tradition(also known as Satyananda yoga), which is accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga. Satyananda yoga places particular emphasis on developing awareness and self-acceptance. It is an integral and holistic system which uses practices to influence and harmonise all levels of the personality. The emphasis is more towards a meditative approach and the spiritual aspect of yoga.
