I'm an experienced arts and crafts workshop leader specialising in ceramics and mixed media sculpture. I love teaching kids, particularly 7-12s, many of my projects focus on or are open to ideas from the young makers rather than imposing a rigid brief.

I've worked with kids who are both challenging and delightful, and can accomodate up to 10 participants. However, my favourite way of working is to collaborate with other workshop leaders and artists on big exciting projects, i have lots of contacts to share, which means any project is possible to do.

I am a vocalist with a background in traditional, jazz and experimental music. I teach using a combination of techniques gathered from speech therapy, 'classical' vocal techniques, jazz and trad. I do not teach Western Art Music, 'Classical' music or musical theatre.

I am always sensitive to the genre of music a student sings, and I make sure that any exercises are relevant and specific. I also make sure students get experience of using a microphone and hearing recordings of their own voices. I'm willing to give advice via email.

Edgerton, born in Racine, Wisconsin, is a composer of modern classical music. In addition to concert music, he previously had interest in bringing music together with other mediums, such as theater, movement and visual art, often in collaboration with artists from these disciplines - however, in the last 10 years, his work increasingly leans toward complexity and acoustical exploration.

I've been teaching the clarinet (and other woodwind instruments) for 7 years part-time while pursing my own education. I did a lot of teaching in London, while I was doing my masters in the orchestral training programme at the Guildhall, but now I'm doing a PhD at the University of Huddersfield so am based up north! I'm especially interested in contemporary music!!
