I am a qualified peripatetic music teacher and teach pupils from the age of 6 years to adult. I have been teaching for the past 15 years and am passionate about my job. I teach in a number of schools around the local area as well as providing private lessons outside of school. Music is supposed to be fun therefore, lessons are tailored to each individual pupil's requirements however, I have a 100% pass rate with those pupils that choose to undertake exams. I am licensed to teach through Kent County Council and have a full CRB certificate.

I generally recommend an initial one hour friendly consultative lesson. This gives me and you a chance to make a needs assessment and make a plan for the following lessons. Each pupil is unique. I encourage pupils to have agreed goals which they practice to achieve. This results in pupils having lessons only when they need, e.g. sometimes not necessarily weekly. I want pupils to progress and only wish to have pupils who are motivated to improve through practice.
