I am enthusiastic about every part of music, as each part means something different to everybody. Playing the cello has been a huge part of my life and I would always encourage others to do similar. I have always played regularly myself, and therefore have a varied background in performing. I have been a member of numerous classical or pop ensembles, as well as playing rock covers, and recording and performing in gigs with a band who only played originals.

She has an Artist Diploma, which she was awarded in Munich Germany, where she studied , as well as a Master's Degree, which was given to her in Würzburg.
During her studies, the City of Munich employed her as ’cello teacher specifically for grammar schools and as she made herself a name, the number of her private students increased.
After her MA, Susanne went on to study with William Pleeth in London.

I completed my teaching observations as part of my degree both at the Junior Department of the Royal Northern College of Music and Chorlton High School.

I studied the cello with David Smith and Lionel Handy at the Royal Academy of Music, where I also gained the Academy's licence to teach (L(RAM)).

In 2010 and 2011 I internationally toured contemporary dance pieces by renowned choreographers Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Gregory Maqoma. For this I improvised and composed the live music, collaborating with 3 Indian Classical Musicians.

I completed my PhD at Magdalen College, Oxford, and have taught several subjects within musicology to Oxford undergraduates.

I am a young and enthusiastic cellist and chef. After my masters studies at the 'Royal College of Music' I studied cooking at the renowned 'Le Cordon Blue' chefs training course. I am a very experienced cello teacher who is passionate about music and bringing this love to others in an lively manner. Using the alexander technique I am always interested in using the body well while learning new things.
