I have been practicing Tai Chi & Qi gong for the last 30 years; teaching for 20 years now. Although I teach the simplified 24 forms Tai Chi (as opposed to the more traditional forms) I find this form to be far more accessible to the modern western learner. My teaching style is very "student orientated", meaning; I will work at the learner's pace to make the whole experience more holistic and pleasant for the learner. I do "dabble" in the martial aspects of Tai Chi,but my approach is much more health oriented.

Nicola started teaching in Tokyo in 1978, while she was discovering Shiatsu. She returned to England and studied to be a secondary school teacher at the London College of Education in 1980. She subsequently, taught Human Biology and Maths in a large London school.

In 1984 she was involved in setting up the Shiatsu College with a
particular emphasis on curriculum development. Nicola has delivered Shiatsu teacher training since 1996 and has been a teacher trainer for many of the Shiatsu Society’s teachers.

Certified Instructor Ollie Smith trained in Taiwan full-time under master Luo Dexiu, after eight years (two of which were spent as assistant instructor) he moved to Kyoto and received the first instructor certification offered by master Luo. Whilst in Japan he taught openly next to the Heian Shrine for two years. In June 2010 Oliver returned to Taiwan to complete his training, he was then awarded the standardized official certification of Yizong Bagua Teacher before relocating to the U.K. Where he was given his official school title, Long De Guan.
