Phil Robinson is the principal instructor and founder of the Daolin Centre, he practises, teaches and continues his study of Tai Chi, Qigong and Kung Fu on a daily basis. As part of his Kung Fu training Phil has also studied Daoist and Buddhist philosophies, anatomy, physiology and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Phil has studied several styles of Tai Chi but his formal training has been mostly in Chen Style, the original form of Tai Chi. His Kung Fu training has also been in various styles including Traditional Shaolin Forms, Hung Gar, Long Fist and Eagle Claw.
