I love experimenting with crafting and using resources creatively. I'm am besotted with sock monkeys and their varied friends. New workshops are developed regularly - all using stuff that would normally be thrown away or left stuck at the back of a cupboard. Workshops are fun and relaxed, all welcome.

I learnt to crochet and knit when I was seven and made many baby blankets and tops for myself and then at ten I became interested in sewing. I made my first piece of clothing at eleven.

Giving or receiving something handmade for Christmas or a birthday is so much more special than having something ready made. And it's a lovely skill to be able to pass on to the next generation.

Lessons cost £20 per hour and usually last around 2 - 2.5 hours. I can either come to your home, you can come to mine, or I can teach you in a quiet local cafe. Group sessions are £15 each (minimum of 3 people) and usually take a little longer due to numbers.
