Make a subtle landscape or seascape in this two-part workshop, which explores wet and needle-felting techniques, using naturally-dyed Peak District wool.
Day 1: Design, lay down wool fibres and wet-felt.
Day 2: Learn how to needle-felt, stitch & bead your felt to best effect.

A short creative break for yourself and friends. This is a perfect opportunity to relax, appreciate the beautiful Peak Distict scenery & take home a unique natural artwork.

Choose from a variety of accommodation & venues.

This is suitable for a group of up to 10 people. It's a full day to learn as much about feltmaking as we can fit in!
Depending on the size of group (usually more can be covered with smaller group 4-6 people) we will make
-Pre felt
-Felted flowers (for corsages or to wear in hair)
-Other felted jewellery
-A cushion cover or wallhanging.

The day will be tailored to suit the group's interests, and energy levels. We will have a fun day and good learning happens when students are comfortable, relaxed and definitely not stressed!

We will explore different techniques and ideas, building up a portfolio of gorgeous examples!
Occasionally we will complete a project such as cushion covers, bags, book covers etc.
