Jissen Ryu Ju Jitsu is a modern Ju Jitsu school, but we have old style values. As well as Ju Jitsu our students learn how to link other arts such as combat wing chun, Arnis, Kyusho Jitsu and make it a all round street defence.

Not only do we teach a combat ready form of Ju Jitsu but we are also the only club in Staffordshire to be part of the national governing body for Ju Jitsu, the BJJAGB, this allows our students to take part in national and international championships and access to sport england recognised coaching qualifications.

I teach a system of martial arts called "Hakuda Kempo Toshu Jutsu" which is a modern system based on various traditional styles of Karate, Jujutsu, Kobudo and Kung Fu.

Unlike many forms of Karate, our system is completely functional for self defence and is taught according to a scientific hypothesis called The Bushinkai Method which emphasises that tuition is taught via three sciences (the science of violence, the science of technique and the science of learning).

I became interested in martial arts as a child and I'm the third generation of martial arts instructors in my family.

I've been a student of Martial Arts for over thirty years, first Judo and Archery, then for the past 26 years I've studied Go-Ju-Ryu Karate. Teaching since the late '80s and travelling around the UK to study I've run my own club in Milton Keynes since 1996. I now have a group of instructors working with me to help teach Go-Ju and other styles as well as Self Defence and weapons. Training across three sites in the area we can provide tuition from beginner to advanced, for adults and children, in a friendly and helpful atmosphere.

Paul Robinson began his martial arts training at the age of 8 years old, and has been practising Aikido for almost 20 years. He is a member of the British Birankai Teaching Committee, graded 5th Dan Shidoin (National Instructor). These grades were awarded directly under examination by TK Chiba Shihan, a direct student of the founder of Aikido, O-Sensei.
