Students will also learn how to use the beautiful and versatile Italian Wire Mesh Ribbon to compliment the pendant(s) created in class. This class will give students a good foundation in basic wire-working techniques, which will surely be used again and again in future jewelry-making projects. Students will leave the class with a finished pendant necklace and matching dangle earrings.

This is intended as an introduction to the world of glass beadmaking. I will comprehensively cover health and safety issues and discuss different set ups that are available currently.

I will discuss with you the different properties of the glass and the principles of striking, reducing and oxidising.

I will spend time with you familiarising you with the equipment I use and showing you many of the tools that are available for you to use.

I will demonstrate how to make a simple bead and then you will get the opportunity to have a go.
