I am a ceramicist/potter based in a studio in Hove. I make work to sell that ranges from ceramic wall panels, vases and clocks to jewellery buttons and greeting cards. I teach Ceramic Jewellery and Button-making day courses to small groups in my studio,and to organised larger groups in venues that are within 2 hours drive from my studio. The clay making and decorating techniques I teach can be equally applied to pots and ceramic sculpture. The one day workshops form a sound basis to making design-based jewellery or constucting and decorating larger clay pieces.

I have always been interested in Art and Craft and have had wonderful hobbies in 3D Design and Art, Pottery, Photography, Mosaics and Picture Framing along with restoring the odd bit of wooden furniture!

Over the last couple of years I have made wire jewellery which I have sold to friends and family. Recently, I have spent more time designing my own pieces and have found a wonderful shop in my local town in Lewes where I sell my bead and wire pieces.

I am a qualified college lecturer but I also have jewellery and wire workshops of my own with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Bioresin is a relatively new material that is an eco-plastic and does not require the same health + safety precautions as more common resins. I also teach the combining of wood with inlay and pearls. I have sold through department stores and boutiques and my work is in many public collections and books on contemporary jewellery.
