I have been specialising in improvisation and all things creative since the 1990s.

I teach through my own company Sprout Ideas, as well as being a tutor at West London University and The Court Theatre Drama School.

As well as teaching and performing improvisation I have directed and written for numerous artists including Phil Nichol, Stephen K Amos, Carey Marx, Felix Dexter and Laurence Clark.

Let us start with a story . . . when I was 12 years old, I was put off singing by a music teacher who made everyone in my class at a West London convent school stand up and sing solo. My throat closed up, nothing came out and I never sang another note in public for more than 50 years. It was the cause of much sadness; I come from a musical family and my late mother sang professionally when she was young.
