    Indigenous Perspectives Conference

One of Britain's leading adventurers, Benedict Allen, is to open the Indigenous Perspectives Conference on Monday 12th October. Allen is the author of 11 books, but is probably best known for his TV programmes of exploration and endurance. His first-hand experience of indigenous people in jungle, tundra and desert qualifies him to speak with authority and warmth at this one-day conference at the Pierian Centre.

    Introductory & Full Design Courses

I currently run a selection of courses that accommodate different levels of learning in permaculture. These range from taster days & introductory weekends, to full design courses (90hrs) that provide participants with an opportunity to learn about & to start to apply the principles & tools. I also run more specialist courses for design course graduates, that advance permaculture learning & provide tools & skills for teaching & facilitation.

Any interest in joining a Stoke Newington/North London food co-operative? (credit crunch times!)

    Hi all,

Would anyone be interested in getting together a
group of people to place organic wholesale food
orders? Many wholesalers will accept a minimum
order of £400 or so placed by a private group and
you can get huge savings on pantry items such as
tinned tomatoes, beans, pasta, oils, grains,
    spices, wine, ecological cleaning products....

Please email me if you're interested!

    Thanks
