Hi, I’m Meri, principal of Flamingos Dance which specialises in ballet and flamenco dance for children and adults.

I also teach Zumba which is a latin-inspired, easy-to-follow, calorie-burning, dance fitness class. It really is easy, great fun, completely addictive and the best fat dissolving and waist toning exercise I have ever found.

I trained as a classical ballet dancer in my youth and have danced flamenco most of my adult life however, having had 4 children in less than 6 years (the last two in my 40’s) it's only thanks to Zumba that I got my waist back.
