Aldo always loved painting since he was a child: watercolours, acrylics, oils have always been an intriguing way to spend hours painting! And growing up and getting too busy into the work routine, time started to become a serious issue against… his passion!
A day, walking into an art shop, Aldo came across a Bob Ross painting demo. Fascinating! Aldo needed to find out more about this quick and extremely effective painting method. Without almost realizing it, he joined the training courses to become an instructor. “It’s just for fun!” he thought and now he has found himself ready to share “The Joy of Painting”

I have been running full day workshops since 2006 and achieved a good teaching experience during this time.
I would like to say that we always have a great time at the class: the technique is fun as well and you learn how to paint in a very friendly relaxed environment!
Oils are very forgiving and I will be there for any "happy accident" that might occur, safely talking you throughout the day!
When I do demos in public, this is the most common comment people make!
Believe me, you don't need any previous experience or drawing skills to enjoy the technique.
As a matter of fact, most people that join the classes never painted before!
The step by step method allows you to learn the technique and to create a complete painting by the end of the day!
People (and their friends and families!) can't believe what they achieve in a day!

Classes start around 9.45 am until around 4.00-4.30pm, with a break for lunch. They have an occurrence around every 4-5 weeks at the same venue.
All the materials are provided, so that you don't need to bring anything apart your lunch box and… your desire of painting!
The painting project of the day appears on the website and newsletter. The technique is taught thru a step by step method, with a full demonstration of every part of the painting and related talk thru. Remember that every one can achieve great results with Bob Ross technique and you DON'T NEED previous experience or drawing skills. You can join any class, any time! In the end of the day you will be able to take home your own complete and signed painting!
Booking in advance is essential! In order to attend the class, a booking form must be filled and returned with a cheque at the following address:

The cost for the full day is a standard price of £45. If you come along with another person, you can both paint for £40 on the day of your friend first class.
Please make the check payable to: Aldo Galli, dated two weeks before the class you choose. If you wish to cancel the lesson, 48 hr notice is required and a cheque for the same amount will be sent back to you.
Another payment option is available.
You could pre book your place at the class sending a cheque for £20 cheque instead that the full amount and pay the rest on the day. If you are taking advantage of the “Bring a friend Offer”, please add £20 per friend(s) too.
Please be aware that in this case, in order to claim a refund if you wish to cancel the class, 10 day notice must be given.
Village Halls and Community Centres must be booked well in advance and last minute cancellations are not accepted or cause embarrassing situations and mistrust for future bookings of the venue.
