Alexandra Lazar

I'm a practicing artist with a lifelong commitment to research and practice in drawing. Trained as a fine artist, printmaker and illustrator (BA visual art), I went on to research its theory and history (MA arts criticism and management, PhD art history).

I dabbled in product design, worked as a classic animator, graphic designer and lettering artist, and taught drawing ranging from Twentieth century and contemporary to street art.

So basically, I love drawing and believe in teaching and learning it through practice.

I teach drawing from observation or photography, life and museum drawing, illustration art and design across a range of drawing practices and ability range, all levels up to post graduate.

Based in East London but can travel further on agreement.
