I am a trained teacher of over 20 years experience as well as a practicing artist. I am self-employed running practical training courses for primary and secondary teachers and I also work as a tutor running leisure courses for adults in East Anglia.

Offering: private lessons, group classes, workshops and intensive courses.
Aimed at: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.
Ages: 12 +
Rates: £35 per day - leisure courses, teacher training by negotiation

Taster Sessions

Taster sessions running in the workshop space at the back of the shop. These sessions give an introductory flavour of different crafts and last 90 minutes each. Contact Hobbyhorse on 01986 892504 or drop into the shop for details.

Private Teaching

Craft Workshops

I am happy to teach individuals or small groups in a wide variety of crafts. Subjects offered include; needle-felting, silk painting,experimental textiles, surface embellishment on paper and fabric, using Friendly Plastic, printmaking, papermaking and many others.

Individuals can come and work in my studio or I can use a local venue for small groups.
