I've been tutoring creative subjects for over 30 years from seamstressing to stained glass, and i'd love to help you express your creative side. Whether you'd like to make a wall hanging, a skirt, or a feature window, I can guide you through the basics, and inspire you to continue creating beautiful things long after you've left.

All my sessions are very hands-on, and give you skills that you can use again and again. I provide all the equipment and resources we'll need, as well as tasty home made refreshments.

I can teach individuals, couples, or small groups (up to 6) from my home in Reading, Berkshire. Additionally if you have a small group and suitable venue within reasonable traveling distance, I can come and lead a creative day with you.

Tutoring can be from an hour or two to a whole day depending on your needs and the skills you want to learn.

Pattern drafting
Garment making
Stained glass (basic level)
Scrapbooking
Banner making
Simple books (made with folded paper)

I am also an experienced teacher of lip-reading to people with a hearing problem, and am happy to do lip-reading lessons with individuals or small groups.

I have a dedicated creative room and peaceful and reflective surroundings with a bubbling brook at the bottom of the garden!
