Andrea Marongiu

I am a very versatile drummer who can play any kind of music, I have a pretty clean sound and a great timing. I am very confident with click tracks and very quick in recording sessions, I won't waist any time.
I can give a very high quality level of recording and I also have a good personality so is very easy to get along with me.

I’ve always played pop, funk, rock, hard rock, fusion, latin, in original projects as well as sessions, but only in the past 6 years I've been living a parallel world playing Jazz which I love.

There is some Pop, some Rock(live), some Latin(live) with drum solo and also a Jazz track.
All the recording are 3 or 4 years old because in the past 3 years I have been around the world playing on “Royal Caribbean” cruise ships where I had the opportunity to play with musicians from all over the world.

The most important things for me when I’m playing drums are:
Creativity,
Musicality,
Personality,
Versatility,
Dynamics,

The key is: to Listen! Listen who I’m playing with and myself.

That’s what I’ve always based my lessons on.
My students appreciate that finding in themselves a new way of drumming which goes beyond the classic 4/4.
