A retired private chef and caterer, I spent 12 years in Washington DC cooking everything from dinner for 3 to parties for 800. Now, though, I love the creativity and conviviality of making and sharing great meals with my family and friends.

My goal as a teacher is for you to learn the essence of cooking so you can move beyond "following recipes" to become an intuitive, natural cook. In each class we will prepare a complete dinner party of 3-5 dishes tailored around the ingredients and techniques you want to learn.

The classes are small, with only 3 students, and are held in my gourmet kitchen in central London (near Baron's Court tube stop).
