I have 28 years of playing experience on the guitar and am very versatile. I teach fingerstyle and plectrum technique and musicianship. Stylistic concerns are at the students discretion, I basically show the most effective technical methods of achieving the student's aims.
I also teach 5 string and tenor banjo, mandolin and oud.
I stress a solid understanding of fundamental skills.
I am based and teach in Edinburgh, and also teach in Glasgow once a month on a Saturday.
Lesson rates are from £15/10 per half hour.
