Textile Assistantship
Do you want to learn to weave in an intensive, 3 week session, in the context of a professional weave studio? The Assistantship is for you! Combine the intensive individual learning programme (one-to-one or one-to-two) with assisting in the real, profesional work of the studio. The intention behind the assistantship is to enable students to continue learning on their own at home, with the possibility of progressing up to profesional level.
Self-catering aommodation is provided in Casa dos Artesans, the traditional Spanish cottage situated a short walk from the textile studio. The textile studio is situated in a small village in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
One-to-One Tuition (residential)
Learn to weave or, if you already know the basics, learn something new, in this stunning part of northwest Spain. Quality one-to-one tuition in the context of a professional weave studio. Accommodation is available at Casa dos Artesans, our charming Spanish cottage, just a short distance from the textile studio. Basketry tuition also available.
Weaving and Dyeing Work Experience in North Spain
If you know the basics of hand-weaving, or have already done a course at the AC Textile Studio then think about a period of work experience here in rural north Spain? If you do then contact us. Minimum period: 2 weeks.
