Rates: $25-$40 an hour depending on subject area and frequency of tutoring

I am new to Northern CA and would like to get back into teaching by tutoring students one on one in their private home or public area (i.e. library for example). My experience with teaching is varied but mainly has been upper elementary, junior high, high school, and adult education. My skills range from English composition, to Algebra II readiness. My favorite subjects to tutor are: Algebra, Biology, Chemistry, and general education to prepare for exams. I excel at working with students who have learning disabilities and students who may need more repetition to learn new concepts.

Persons who are under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian either at the public place of tutoring or be present when tutoring is being conducted out of their private residence. At no time will I transport any minors to the place of tutoring if that should be conducted off site.

Tutoring can be paid for in advance (discounts may apply) or be paid as services are rendered. Payment is due in full a time of service.
