Mathematics tutor
Based in Carshalton, Surrey, my tutoring service has been supporting KS3, GCSE, A Level and Undergraduate students for 7 years. I can support all of the current syllabuses including EdExcel, OCR, AQA and IB.
In recent years education has become a very competitive field. Various pressures, increasing classroom sizes, skill and teacher shortages, to name a few, can mean that the needs of students are sacrificed to the general running of the class. This could leave the student in a poor position to compete for that precious individual attention, which is critical to the future prospects of any student.
I aim to redress this balance by:
• Focusing on specific needs
• Building confidence
• Improving study skills
• Developing exam techniques
In return, I ask only that the student:
• Shows a willingness to learn
• Complete any reasonable assignments
• Use the recommended text books
About Me:
As an industry professional, I have been asked on many occasions to mentor colleagues with a view to developing training and career plans. Over the past seven years, I have not only extended this tutorship to leading my two young sons through the requirements of the National Curriculum, but have also tutored students struggling at Key Stage 3 to academic 'A' and degree level students.
