I am currently a freelance graphic designer/illustrator and screen printer producing and selling my prints. Have successfully taught A Level Graphics/Nat Diploma art & design since Sep '05 and acted as creative arts workshop instructor.
I have over nine years art & design experience & 2:1 degree in Visual Communication (Graphic design). I provide a graphic design service as a freelancer, in-house or working remotely.
Interested in ad-hoc arts teaching and am happy to teach (all abilities) Mac/PC based design
and illustration or purely arts based skills/techniques. I am keen to encourage others to tap into their creative potential, prepare students progressing on to FE courses and am also keen to run arts based workshops.
I'm a calm and encouraging tutor, intuitive in gauging an individuals level of ability and techniques to benefit their desired outcomes.
I charge £20 per hour (minimum of 2hrs teaching per session). This includes an hours preparation time prior to session, materials costs and a homework assignment with supporting material. Reduced budget requirements can be discussed* for an agreed course of learning - not for one or two sessions (*at tutors discretion).
I require 24hr cancellation notice, or session will be charged for)
I charge for travel expenses on top of session (within London - typically a day travel card: £7 and outside of London - can quote travel cost)
