I spent 10 years as a university maths lecturer but since having children I have worked as a private tutor. In the 10 years that I have been tutoring I have helped many students achieve A and A* grades at GCSE and A level, as well as helping KS3 students move up to a higher maths set and improve their chances of future sucess. I can provide loads of past papers for all exams to help students prepare.
My aim is to improve students confidence and fill in any gaps in their knowledge. I want to help them realise that maths doesn't have to be a subject that they "don't get" but is a subject like any other where what they know is greater than what they don't.
I hope my classes are relaxed and maybe even fun.
I have a purpose built tutor space providing a quiet and calm environment to work in.
I am CRB checked.
