Let's Try Folk Fiddle
A group for anyone who plays the fiddle, whether you’re just beginning, starting again after a break, or have never played folk before.
We’ll build a repertoire of great tunes we can play together, and look at some techniques to help bring the music alive. And, of course, just enjoy playing together. You can learn the tunes by ear or from music, whichever you’re most comfortable with.
Sessions are led by Cath Watkins who plays with local folk band Jigfoot and co-ordinates a regular pub folk session.
