Charles E. Lumpkins
Piano Lessons teacher
I have over seven years of teaching experience with students of a wide variety of ages and learning styles.
I encourage not only learning to play the piano, but improvisation, composition and overall musicianship.
I have had over ten years of classical training, studied Jazz for over a year,
currently play solo and in a jazz/swing band, and have a particular fondness for world folk music
and its instruments that I delight in sharing with students.

THE SMALL PRINT
1. Payments should occur as follows unless a particular student’s circumstances are deemed unique by the piano instructor: All expected lessons for the current month must be paid for in advance during the first lesson of that same month.
2. All Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time unless due to a family emergency. As long as 24 hour notice has been given, a student will be eligible for a make-up lesson during the next seven days, but if unavailable during the proposed times, this lesson will be forfeit without refund. All no-shows will not be refunded unless due to a family emergency.
3. Any Scheduling Conflicts must be brought to the piano instructor's attention in writing. An account of schedule changes should be handed in or emailed to the instructor on or before the first lesson of the given month. It is recommended that each student's family sits down with their calendars prior to each coming month in order to provide the teacher with a consistent schedule of upcoming lessons.
5. In the event of any Piano Instructor Cancellations, the instructor will do everything in their power to make-up each lesson during the next seven days. However, if a suitable time cannot be found, any unused payments in the instructor's possession will be applied towards future lessons unless a refund is requested by the payee.
