I'm an established author with nearly thirty books published on a wide range of topics, from relationships to Russian folk lore, mythology, social history and children's stories. These include 'Your Life, Your Story', 'Growing your Family Tree', 'The Soul of Russia' the award winning 'Calendar of Festivals', 'Love Begins at 40' and the popular 'Stories from the Silk Road.'

I teach creative writing, especially life writing. I'm a tutor for both Oxford and Exeter universities, and also teach in a variety of venues from village halls to summer schools and cruise ships. Some of my work is also in the form of Life Story consultancy, assisting people to set down their memories and reflections in the form of a personal narrative.
