Cheyenne Brown, from Bird Creek Alaska, came to Scotland on a full Associated Board scholarship in 2002 to study traditional music at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. . Cheyenne’s main performing group is the duo with cellist and Scots singer Seylan Baxter. They have toured in Germany and Spain and extensively throughout the United Kingdom and have realised their debut CD, 2:forty. She is in high demand as a harp tutor on both sides of the Atlantic, co-founded the Scottish Harp and Cello Festival in 2006, and started the Glasgow Branch of the Clarsach Society in 2007.
