Hi all,

I'm Chris and I'm a tutor of Music Technology and Music Production.

I have a broad range of experience, ranging from studio recording to software sequencing, to classical music recording and acoustics.

I have a degree in Sound Technology from LIPA, which taught me a lot of the theory behind what I do. I also have many private musical qualifications and play the keyboard, bass guitar and trombone to a good performance standard....I've even been known to dabble in a bit of electric guitar, but no guarantees....Through doing all of this I've been able to train my ear both musically and acoustically, and can also supplement basic music theory teaching.

I am an engineer/producer at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool, and have worked with many different bands and artists from a wide range of genres. I'd usually do lessons from home to keep the cost down, but there is always the opportunity to get into the studio if that's what you'd like!

My personal speciality is dance music production, although through my work at the studio I have a great deal of experience in other aspects of production, such as recording, mixing and mastering.

My MySpace page should come up in the links section below...Have a listen!

If there's anything else you'd like to know, please don't hesitate to get in contact.

Cheers,

Chris.
