Chris has 20 years’ experience as a singer, performer and teacher. His experience as a performer includes opera, recitals and work with professional choirs.
He works with singers with a wide range of musical interests: classical; jazz; cabaret; pop,as well as singers who are performing in West End shows and opera. He ably assists students in their choice of suitable repertoire for study, performance and audition.
Chris is a proficient linguist, with fluent Italian, a sound knowledge of French, as well as the ability to assist with German and Spanish pronunciation
Chris aims to provide a holistic approach to singing teaching and coaching that is fulfilling and enjoyable, while acknowledging the tremendous physical and psychological challenges of voice training. He offers a teaching method that is tailored to the individual’s unique needs and ability. He works with the student by identifying personal and professional goals and assisting the student in attaining them.
In addition to his musical skills, Chris has excellent interpersonal skills gained from his experience as a personal development trainer, having written and facilitated training courses
Fees may be paid on the day or in advance. If lessons are cancelled by the student giving, less than 24 hours notice, the full lesson fee will become payable as a late cancellation charge.
