I am an innovative, caring and mature Music Teacher with a passionate approach to providing students with the best possible learning experience. Exceptional motivational and communication skills are used in group and individual guitar, vocal and music technology teaching.

As well as teaching privately I am also a tutor for Essex Music Services in local primary and secondary schools. I also lecture in Music Technology at Colchester Institute. My teaching experience is supported by having been a gigging musician for over 25 years in bands playing originals and cover versions. I compose my own music and as well as being a guitarist first and foremeost I am also a very keen drummer.

The age range of my current group of students goes from 8 to 60. Within the group of students I have a mixture of beginners right through to the advanced player. Some of my students are studying for their GCSE's in Music and some are working towards Rockschool grades. Many of my students are starting to play in bands and are realising the potential of their new found skill.
