Post-graduate theology student at Edinburgh University offering Trumpet lessons to all ages, mainly of beginner and intermediate standard. Can also teach music theory within trumpet lessons if desired.

Studied music GSCE and A level, Grade 8 ASBRSM achieved on trumpet aged 16, Grade 5 ASBRSM acheived age 13. Have been a member of various orchestras, windbands, silver bands including Edinburgh Sinfonia, Edinburgh University Windband, Edinburgh Ensemble, Stanhope Silver Band, principal trumpet in Durham County Winband and performances at venues such as Durham Cathedral. Solo experience includes recital with Durham Young Musicians. Non classical experience includes improvisatory experience briefly with a jazz band and four year plus as a member of a ska punk hip-hop fusion band: New Urban Frontier.

Also grade 8 standard piano and lots of singing experience with choirs and chamber choirs.

Teaching experience has never been as a professional, but have instructed lots of beginners trumpet, music theory, trumpet trios and more advanced grade 6 and 7 students.

Able to work with any age students.

Students will need to have their own trumpet and be able to travel to my flat in central Edinburgh for lessons.
