I am trained in photographic arts (BA hons) and have practical experience in a range of art and craft mediums.

In 2010, I began assisting and facilitating various workshops within the community. I have worked with a myriad of art mediums including mosaic, printmaking textile, photography and collage, among others...

During this time, I have worked with a range of participant groups, which have previously included young offenders, homeless adults and elders with dementia. This has given me knowledge of how to work creatively with varying abilities, to affectively teach people new art skills and boost confidence.

I am confident in sharing the skills I have picked up through my community art experience, and equally as receptive to learn new art and craft skills.

Experience

Facilitator / Arts Worker

I have work on a freelance basis for various community art organisations facilitating various art workshops. I originally began in this sector in 2010 as a volunteer.

I have worked with a range of client groups and with various art mediums. Including:
facilitating mosaic sessions with disabled young people,
working with adults in supported mental health housing,
ceramic projects with young people with additional needs,
and screen-printing workshops with young people with challenging behaviour, among others.

My main experience is working in a community setting with vulnerable young people, adults and elders.
