Greetings! Here is a brief resume of my training. I have spent 14 years in China, studying Chinese medicine, Mandarin and Tai Chi(Yang jia Michuen). While there I was also teaching English, Translating Mandarin (after 10 years!) and Dj-ing, among other things, having gone out there to study advanced Acupuncture(with Dr.Su Xin Ming in Nanjing).(I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council).
All these activities contribute to my understanding of Tai Chi Chuan, and teaching.
I like to include some of the related exercises like Qi Gong and Push Hands, as is done in China. Yang Jia Michuen is one of the oldest, original styles and has martial applications, as well as being a Daoist art, so it has many practical uses. It enhances- suppleness, health and confidence to name but three...

NEW TAI CHI CLASS STARTING

WEDNESDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER

A weekly Tai chi Class at Bosnieves Mill,

Withiel (near Wadebridge) PL30 5NQ

After the success of last terms class Guy Nott-Bower will be holding another class every Wednesday evening at 6.30. He will be teaching a special form called ‘Yang style Hidden Fist’ which he studied in China. The classes will include some Chi Gong exercises and martial art application (‘push hands’). ‘Hidden Fist’ Tai Chi is one of the original styles, with a very long history, although rarely seen outside China.

The teaching method is gentle and aims to bring balance, health and confidence to the students.

Classes are open to all levels from beginners and

for all age groups.

Cost: £60 for 10 sessions or £7 each individual class

We begin on Wednesday 8th September at 6.30 p.m.
