I am a Modern Foreign Languages teacher, having completed my Teacher Training in June 2010. I have worked in both the state and private sectors, as well in both single-sex and co-educational schools. My main subject is French, but I also teach basic Spanish; over the course of that year, I taught French at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, as well as some basic Spanish at Key Stage 3. In addition, I also have experience of teaching at primary school level. In June 2008, I worked as an MFL teaching assistant at a local Comprehensive school. During the autumn term of 2010, I worked as an English and History teacher at an Independent boys’ school. I am currently employed at another local independent school, as a registrar.
I spent the third year of my undergraduate degree in France, working for an ICT company as an English teacher and translator.
I am now looking to return to working as an MFL teacher.
