Hilary caught the salsa bug in Italy whilst staying there as a student, then, on returning to England in 1994 took classes in the UK then in Spain before coming to Ireland in 1999 where she set up her own classes.

Hilary has been teaching salsa in Dublin since 1999 and is a qualified fitness instructor and dance teacher (UKA, United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing). She has been a guest teacher at national and international congresses including the London Latinfest (2008, 2009), Great British Salsa Experience (2008, 2009), Salsa School Maynooth (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009) Cork Salsa Bonanza (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009), Dublin Congress (2006, 2007), Belfast Dance Asylum (2008) as well running popular weekly classes in Dublin.
