I am a private tutor in the Marylebone area of London, specializing in A-level Physics, Maths and Further Maths.
I also teach Physics at undergraduate-level and Maths for people studying Finance, Business and Economics.
Originally a Physics tutor at Oxford University, I have returned to teaching after a career in the finance industry where I was the head of the London office of an international financial modelling company.
I hold a doctorate and a double first class honours degree in Physics from Oxford, and really enjoy being able to make complex ideas simple.
For the last two years I have been a private tutor, helping students with their understanding of Physics and Maths.
I have helped A-Level students get the grades they require in order to study at the university they want. I have also helped undergraduates improve on their grades (in once case from a fail to a first). My aim is to always try and help the student understand the subject, and to develop their interest further.
You are welcome to see the comments on my website that my past students have made about me.
Tutor to the Finance Industry
Whilst working in the finance industry I obtained over ten years of experience providing seminars and tutorials to financial professionals around the world. The area of financial modelling I specialized in was the use of linear programming and other techniques to optimize return measures such as the IRR (Internal Rate of Return) and PV (Present Value).

I spent two years as a part-time general Physics tutor at Oxford University. I tutored eleven first-year undergraduates, and never failed to get a student successfully through their first year examinations.
