I run/can deliver the following sessions/workshops at your venue.

1. Scripts from Scraps: sessions for new/emerging writers - exploring types of scripts. The outcome is a script-in-hand performance of 5-10 minute scripts.

2. Script in Development: for those with some script awareness. Builds on character, dialogue, context, audience, tech, etc.

3. Script Specifics: focussed on scripts for particular genres; eg radio, sketch, comedy, sitcom, devised, story vs play etc

4. Discussing Directing: workshops on the differences between radio and live scripts

5. Acting for Adults: always wanted to tread the boards but never had the time/confidence? These informal sessions for over 50s explore performance skills through our experiences. A 'devised' performance may ensue.

6. Create Expectations: creative and fun sessions exploring the writing process. No experience necessary and can be adpated as storytelling workshops for early years.

7. A variety of creative family learning workshops using storytelling as the focus: Top of the Props, Costume Capers, PastTime Pictures - just a taste of what's available.

8. Arts/Business Consultancy: marketing, volunteer audits/development; advice; signposting.

Freelance creative writing projects for various organisations.

May 10 – July 10
Freelance facilitator with Find Your Talent, Leeds. Working with a Morley Children’s Centre to develop child-friendly heritage walk. Using characters of 100 years ago and craft/art workshops based on buildings around Morley. Outcomes: school exhibition, walk to feature in Morley Lit Fest in Oct 10. Co-ordinating with MLA, local history and archive groups, Town Hall and councillors.

May 10 - June 10
Freelance tutor/co-ordinator of Wool Workshops for Artspace, Bradford Cathedral

May 10 – July 10
Scripts from Scraps: 6-week course at Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond. Freelance facilitator developing new/emerging writers culminating in script-in-hand performance at the theatre and all pieces recorded for broadcast by Radio Teesdale. Scripts have also featured at other venues.

Nov-Dec 09
Freelance Creative Workshops for Saltaire Inspired using photos and props to create stories of personal histories. Ages 4 – 60, refugees, asylum seekers, people at risk, SOL.

Nov 09
Freelance Scriptwriting from Scratch sessions for adults at Otley Courthouse which resulted in script-in-hand performances.

Nov 09 – ongoing
Freelance storyteller/creative facilitator working with family groups (0-60, refugees, disadvantaged, schools, etc) on a variety of projects across Bradford, Halifax with Artworks, Bradford.
