I've been doing all kinds of things for so many years that I forget what I have been good at.
I am an enthusiast seeking to share my knowledge and skills with people interested in my areas of knowledge. I don't (always) claim to excel at what I do but I like to help and encourage other people to learn.

I teach mugairyu (A Japanese sword form), and have a definite interest in many other Japanese cultural items, including calligraphy, tea ceremony and taiko.

I play violin, learn harp and psaltery, perform well at period (barebow) archery and medieval rapier.

I am a professional IT geek. I am ridiculously knowledgeable in Linux and Solaris, storage kit and managing massive numbers of computers.

Other areas of interest are pulling coffee, and freezing icecream.
