Rates: I charge £150 per day for groups plus travel expenses

I am a Textile Artist living in St. Ives Cornwall. I run workshops for adults and children in a variety of subjects including all the above and more. I have been over to the Isles of Scilly to run workshops there and have also undertaken work for Arts for Health working with the elderly. I have a CRB check and am willing to travel to run workshops. I have just successfully completed the Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector Course.

Feltmaking Weekend

A weekend to learn how to make felt - on the Saturday students will learn how to make a flat piece of felt and a seamless felt bag.

On the Sunday students will learn how to make felt using water soluble fabric and a sewing machine.

Sewing machine will be required for the Sunday.

Workshop Leader

Since moving to St. Ives I have been running workshops for children in St. Ives Library and now also St. Just and Truro Library on a range of subjects including clay pots, weaving, tie-dyeing, papermaking and lots more!

I have also run workshops for adults on feltmaking, knitting, fabric dyeing, papier-mache etc. In addition I have been over to the Scilly Isles running workshops for the Family Services Department and Lifelong Learning. I recently completed a project for Arts for Health which involved running art and craft sessions in residential home for the elderly.
